1 mln temporary homes to be build for Sichuan
One million temporary homes are being built in Anxian County, Sichuan Province to provide shelter for earthquake survivors. The homes will cover 17 hectares.

Since the quake struck, tons of international aid and materials have been flowing into Sichuan Province -- clearly displaying the love and care for quake victims from around the world.

Quake lakes threaten villages
34 barrier lakes have so far been discovered in Sichuan Province. They were formed by earthquake-induced landslides that blocked rivers. Currently eight of them hold more than three million cubic meters of water, adding potential danger for remaining villages in surrounding areas.
Fuel supplies diverted to qake area
China's major oil refiners are diverting fuel from Southern provinces to quake hit areas to support Sichuan gasoline and diesel supplies. Sinopec says the firm has so far, sent over 68,000 tonnes of emergency fuel supplies to Sichuan and Chongqing.
China cuts taxes to support quake relief
Tax authorities have also announced policies to support quake-hit regions. It's cutting taxes and offering refunds in earthquake-devastated regions in Sichuan Province.
