No disease outbreaks in Mianyang
Mianyang's Jiuzhou Gymnasium is the biggest temporary shelter for survivors, with around 20,000 people living there. Workers have carried out disease prevention work, and so far they've managed to prevent epidemics from occurring.

Temporary communities set up for quake survivors
Earthquake survivors are settling in temporary communities all around the Sichuan capital city of Chengdu. Some government buildings and local schools are serving temporary shelters.
Senior students resume classes in Beichuan
School has reopened in Beichuan County for senior students who survived the earthquake. Teachers who lived through the disaster are back in class, inside newly erected tent schools.
Tent school set up in Pengzhou
Among the ruins in Longmenshan Township in Pengzhou city, a tent school has been set up for nearly 90 primary school pupils. He Mingzhi tells us more about these kids whose schools were destroyed by the quake.
Water supply in Dujiangyan irrigated area restored
The city of Dujiangyan, in Sichuan, boasts a famous irrigation system, which is the largest of its kind in China. Much of the area's irrigation equipment was severely damaged in the quake. But after 11 days of repairs, the water supply was restored today.
Quake-ravaged roads to be cleared
The earthquake has caused many roads in Sichuan collapsed. 24 towns are still difficult to access due to the damage of the roadway. Transport agency is busy drafting plans to cope with the situation.
All survivors in Gengda relocated by helicopters
The Gengda Township, only 23 kilometers away from the epicenter, was completely cut off from the outside world after the earthquake. After being trapped for 10 days, all the survivors were airlifted to safety by PLA soldiers.
