The exhibition hall of the Leshan Giant Buddha Museum in Leshan City, Sichuan Province opened on Dec. 6, 2016. Mount Emei and Leshan Giant Buddha celebrated the 20th anniversary of their successful application for world heritage status on Dec. 6, 2016. The two scenic areas were included into the UNESCO World Natural and Cultural Heritage list in 1996. [Photo/China.org.cn]
