The highways in Sichuan, centered at Chengdu, extend to Tibet, Qinghai, Gansu, Shaanxi and Yunnan. There is also a 340 kilometer super-highway stretching between Chengdu and Chongqing municipality.

In Sichuan, the entire provincial highways cross Chengdu, Mianyang, Leshan, Mt. Emei, Ya’an, Neijiang, Zigong, Yibin and Dazhou.
