Day 6: Devil City

Devil City features a unique landscape of hills and valleys, and is reputed to be the most scenic spot in Xinjiang for its stunning yardangs (hills and crags created by erosion from windblown sand) which formed about 40,000 years ago. On windy nights, the rock formations make horrifying howls, hence the name "Devil City."

Transport: There are tourism buses from Karamay City to Urho Devil City.

Ticket price: 30 Yuan Opening Hours: 9am – 2pm & 4pm – 7pm (Mon. to Fri.); 10am – 3pm (Sat. & Sun.)
