Day 2: Koktokay Scenic Spot

At the headwaters of the Irtysh River, Koktokay is an ideal place for sightseeing, vacationing, hiking and photographing. Koktokay means "green forest" in Kazakh and "blue river bend" in Mongolian, implying that it has been a beautiful place since ancient times.

Transport: Take a coach from Urumqi Nianzigou bus station to Fuyun County Coach Station, and then take a special line taxi to Koktokay Town.
