Day 5: Burqin colored beach

Burqin colored beach, or Rainbow Beach, is beside the Irtysh River in northern Xinjiang. The unique Yadan landscape, formed over a long time by water and wind erosion and consisting of purplish red, Vandyke red, yellow and light green sandstone or gravel, makes visitors feel like they have entered a fairyland.

Transport: take a bus from Kanas to Burqin City, and rent a car direct to the Rainbow Beach Scenic Spot
