SAIC MG-Icon SUV [motorward.com]

Chinese automaker SAIC will unveil its MG-Icon, a new concept SUV at the upcoming 2012 Beijing Auto Show. The crossover-style concept, based on the MG3 ZP platform, is fine looking and compact. It's inspired by the classic MGB GT from the 1960s, but blends contemporary, trendy and sporty elements into the design.

The model will be powered by a 1.5L turbo. It's expected to go into production within one year, and be launched first in the Chinese market in 2014.
