Previous reports said that Mercedes-Benz will make world premiers of three models at the 2012 Beijing Auto Show next week, with one of them most likely being the CLA.

Dubbed "Baby CLS," the model is a new compact four-door coupe based on the company's MFA platform which supports the A-Class and B-Class. It's only one of the five variants planned for the MFA underpinnings.

The car, expected to cost at least €28,000 (US$36,832), will go into production at Kecskemet, Hungary, and will be seen in the streets in 2013.
