Luoyang Peony Festival

Luoyang, China's famous city of peonies and the "Capital of Nine Dynasties," is located in the northwest of Henan Province. Boasting the best peonies in the country and a thousand years of history, Luoyang has held the Peony Festival for almost 20 years till now. During the festival each spring, the whole city will be turned into a sea of flowers, and a paradise of beautiful scenery. This year, the festival will be held from April 1 to May 10, with more than 10 million peony trees of more than 700 species on display. Along with the flower gala, dozens of trade fairs and cultural exhibitions will also be held in Luoyang, which will attract tens of millions of domestic and overseas tourists this year.
