Nanhui Peach Blossom Festival

Nanhui, the largest peach-planting area in eastern China, is located in Pudong District, Shanghai. Every April, the Nanhui Peach Blossom Festival is held in Shanghai, with over 6,667 hectares of peach groves in full blossom. Since its founding 20 years ago, the festival now become a must-see attraction, and a delightful part of city residents' springtime itineraries. Nanhui has four big peach villages in Datuan, Laogang (Binhai Resorts), Xinchang and Huinan towns where visitors can appreciate the landscape and celebrate the return of spring. Besides the flower festival, there is also food, a gala, as well as a folk art and music fête, which attracts tens of thousands of visitors from around the world each year.
