The Sichuan, More Than Pandas serial tourism promotion event was brought to the beautiful beachfront city of Santa Monica in California, the United States, attracting wide attention and participation among locals.

At the stunning beach which the coastal city is famous for, an outdoor event was held on June 30 (local time) to introduce Sichuan’s rich tourism resources including amazing natural scenery and distinct local culture. Participants were offered the opportunity to creating their own versions of panda figures using colorful paints.

As part of the promotional activities, a Sichuan tourism delegation, led by You Yong, top official of Sichuan tourism development commission, visited local travel agencies and tourism authorities.
