A total of 15 tourism sites in Sichuan province are recently included into the list of national 4A scenic sites. Seven of them are located in Zigong city in the southern part of the province.

The new additions cover various categories of tourism development, some boasting wetland sceneries or bucolic landscapes, some preserving cultural heritages or traditional lifestyles.
