The first direct daytime service between Chengdu and the famous vacation destination Phuket Island in Thailand will be launched on March 25.

Shanghai-based budget airliner Spring Airlines plans to deploy an Airbus A320 to operate the round trip between the two places every day.

From Tuesday to Saturday, the aircraft will depart Chengdu at 9:45 am and reach Phuket at 1:55 pm and return at 2:55 pm and arrive at Chengdu at 7:45 pm.

For Monday and Sunday, the route will run on a more convenient schedule, departing at 11:30 am and reaching Phuket at 4:45 pm, then returning at 5:45 pm and touching down in Chengdu at 8:55 pm. (All in Beijing Time)

This service will fill the market gap of direct daytime flight from Chengdu to Phuket. After its launch, there will be a total of three direct flights linking to Phuket.
