In the past few days, some parts of Mount Emei like the Golden Summit located at an altitude of 3,079 meters have been bathing in the warm sun, while some other parts like the neighborhood of Jieyin Hall and Leidong Ping located at an altitude of 2,500 meters have been experiencing heavy snowfalls.

As the coldest time of winter approaches, Mount Emei has become an ideal place for enjoying the ice and snow. The ice and snow theme park on the mountain has a great variety of activities on offer for tourists like alpine skiing, mazes, sliding through dense woods and market fairs.
