Ethiopian Airlines will launch direct flight services between Ethiopia's capital, Addis Ababa, and Chengdu on June 5, Chengdu Business Daily reported.

The flights will operate three times a week, and the flight time is around 10 hours.

It is the city's first direct route to Africa.
