Two scenic zones in Dayi County, southwest China's Sichuan province, plan to build themselves as top-rated destinations, according to a ceremony of starting publicity and promotional events.

Xiling Snow Mountain and Shuihua Bay will build themselves as the national tourist holiday zone and Anren Ancient Town plans to build itself as the 5A-rated scenic zone.

Xiling Snow Mountain and Shuihua Bay are located in western Dayi County. The scenic zones features hot spring resort and ski resort. The scenery here is original and natural, including great water scenery and biology scenery.

Anren Ancient Town is located in Dayi County, approximately 70 kilometers southwest of Chengdu. It was established during the Tang Dynasty. The ancient buildings, as well as well-preserved old mansions, blend the Eastern and Western styles.

Publicity and promotional events will run from August to November including music festival, cycling challenge, and running event which invites Jiang Wenwen and Jiang Tingting, two of China's best synchronized swimmers.
