Chengdu-Xichang-Lugu Lake in Sichuan

Start from Chengdu, take train K165, K113, or T8865 to Xichang Railway Station, where you can take Bus No.12 to Xichang Bus Station. Take a bus to Lugu Lake in the morning and your will arrive at Luguhu Town after about seven hours on the road. There are a lot of mini-vans which will take you to the Lugu Lake. Visitors usually spent two nights in the Lugu Lake Scenic Area.

Tips: The water temperature of the Lugu Lake is relatively low, even in summer. Don’t put your feet in the water for a long time and don’t swim in the lake as the topography is rather complicated. Respect the religion and living habits of the local ethnic groups. You may also take a boat to the lake's part in  Yunnan Province.
