# Skating at Shichahai

Shichahai Ice Rink is one of Beijing's best-known outdoor natural rinks, and is composed of three parts: Qianhai (Front Lake), Houhai (Back Lake), and Xihai (West Lake). The area is surrounded by historic buildings, attractive scenery, as well as old-fashioned local residences, hutongs and courtyard homes.

At the picturesque ice rink, visitors can enjoy traditional ice skating as well as other fun activities such as sledding and even a slide made of ice.
