The Mingsha Mountain, or Echoing-sand Mountain, is located 5 kilometers away from the city of Dunhuang. On days when the wind is just a light breeze, the sand produces gentle sounds that are like music to the ears. Tourists can enjoy the echoing sound and several leisure activities such as sand surfing and camel riding, or go for a sand spa.
