Founded in 1997 in Guangdong Province by Chairman and CEO Yeung Kwok Keung, Country Garden Holdings is one of China's major, integrated property developers. The company is headquartered in Shunde, Guangdong.
Country Garden's businesses involve property development, construction, design and decoration, property management, and hotel development and operation. The company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on April 20, 2007.
Last year, Country Garden's revenue rose 47 percent to 25.80 billion yuan from 17.59 billion yuan in 2009. The company net profits in 2010 were 4.29 billion yuan.
