Thierry Henry, born in 1977, is a French professional footballer who currently plays for the New York Red Bulls in U.S. Major League Soccer. As a seven-year-old boy, Henry showed great potential in football and was recruited to the local club CO Les Ulis. Henry enjoyed similar success with the French national team, having won the 1998 World Cup, Euro 2000 and 2003 FIFA Confederations Cup. In October 2007, he became France's top goal-scorer of all time, but retired from international football after the 2010 World Cup. In July 2010, he transferred from Barcelona to New York Red Bulls.
