Frank Lampard, born in 1978, is an English professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Chelsea and the England national team. Lampard began his career at West Ham United's youth team in 1994, and joined Chelsea in 2001. He has won the Chelsea Player of the Year award, and is Chelsea's 3rd all-time goal scorer with 166 goals in all competitions, including over 100 league goals, the most in the club's history for a midfielder. Lampard is also considered to be one of the best English footballers of all time.
