Mexico

Theme: "Living Better"—History and Future

The Mexico Pavilion features a "Kite Forest" featuring more than 130 kites in five different colors; these are intended to symbolize prosperity and the development of the country. At the pavilion, visitors can survey a wide variety of exhibits devoted to Mexico's history, culture and urban development as well as its world-renowned cuisine. The mask display area of the pavilion is very popular among visitors. The masks there feature small video screens depicting Mexico's public squares and other areas representative of modern Mexico. Visitors can view the images by peering into the backs of the masks.

Netherlands

Theme: Happy Street

The Netherlands Pavilion is a compelling vision of what a city street might look like in the future. The pavilion's 400-meter-long pedestrian street, shaped to resemble a numeral eight, features dozens of small houses hanging on its sides. Each house features innovative and sustainable technologies that the Dutch use in everyday life, as well as the best art and sculptures the country has to offer.

Norway

Theme: Norway, Powered by Nature

Tree-shaped laminated wood pillars made from Norwegian pine and Chinese bamboo support the Norway Pavilion. Walking around the pavilion, visitors feel like they are walking through a Norwegian forest as they are introduced to some of the technologies and innovations that Norwegians have used to improve their urban areas. Rolf L?vland, a member of the world-famous band Secret Garden, specially composed the orchestral suite featured in the pavilion's popular nightly program, which takes visitors on an unforgettable musical journey.
