Jerry is a brown house mouse best known as one of the two main protagonists in "Tom and Jerry," an animated TV series from the United States. The series centers on a friendship-rivalry between Jerry and Tom, a domestic short-haired cat. Instead of being a "cowering victim," Jerry often takes delight in besting, and often torturing his antagonist.
