The anthropomorphic mouse who typically wears red shorts, large yellow shoes and white gloves, Mickey Mouse is one of the world's most recognizable cartoon characters. He made his theatrical debut in the cartoon short "Steamboat Willie," released on Nov. 18, 1928. As its most famous character, Mickey, with lovable appearance and personality, serves as the mascot of the Walt Disney Company.
