Hippopotamus

The hippopotamus' eyes and nostrils are located high up on their heads, allowing the animal to see and breathe while remaining mostly submerged. However, the creature can see things even under the water surface and has sharp eyesight. Each eye is covered by a layer of transparent film to protect it from being damaged.
