Shanghai Huashan Hospital, affiliated to Fudan University, was founded in 1907. It was previously known as the General Hospital of the Chinese Red Cross Association.

The hospital is equipped with 1216 beds and has 39 clinical departments, including neurosurgery, neurology, nephrology, infectious diseases, urology, pancreatic surgery and surgery.
