Xu Maodong, CEO of Wo Wo Group is known for his excessive and high-profile actions. He laid off dozens of employees illegally after they have made great contributions to the company. He also released the whole name list of job-hopping staff from competitors in his blog to humiliate his competitors, in disregard of the employee's career reputation and future. Besides, in order to assign these people, he sacrificed old employee's interests and dismissed many managers. Some people think that Xu advocated customer-brainwashing pyramid schemes, stressing strategies to deceive consumers. On July 15, 2011, a media poll of "Which group purchasing boss is most likely to abscond with the company's money?" Xu received the most votes. Surprisingly, the official blog of Wo Wo Group voted for Xu too.
