Chinese women's saber team finishes fourth at fencing Grand Prix Moscow leg

Chinese fencers ended fourth place in the women's saber team event on Tuesday at the Moscow leg of the International Fencing Federation Grand Prix.
The Chinese quartet of Bao Yingying, Chen Xiaodong, Li Fei and Ni Hong defeated Italy 45-43 in the quarterfinal. But they lost 41- 45 to host Russia in the semifinal and 34-45 to Ukraine in the third-place playoff.
Russia beat France 45-23 in the final.
The Moscow leg of the Grand Prix, which kicked off last Friday and concluded on Tuesday, drew more than 200 fencers from 25 countries and regions. China sent seven male and eight female fencers to the tournament.
