Ning Zhouhao was born in Shandong in 1975 and began to teach himself photography in high school while he was at high school. He published photos in the Shaanxi Daily in his college years. Many books such as "The Story of China", "Black Lens", "Fifty Years of Chinese Photography" include examples of Ning’s work. He has won many prizes including first prize at the Jinan Biannual International Contemporary Photography Festival in 2006 and the bronze award at the Life of Chinese Youth at the Millennium competition.
