Oroqen hunters hunt in Oroqen ethnic autonomous county in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Dec. 27, 2008. The Oroqens, one of the least populous ethnic minorities in China, used to be mainly hunters well versant with archery and horsemanship. The government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region starts an 3-year program to protect the Oroqen culture from dying. A new year Oroqen hunting activity was started in recent days.
