8. Discover Chengdu's beautiful parks

Chengdu is a beautiful city, with over 1,400 scenic parks scattered across its districts. Located right in the middle of the city, People's Park is perhaps the most convenient of the parks to visit. There, you can sip tea, row a boat, and watch or join in with locals dancing, singing and performing tai chi. In Guixi Park, you can enjoy coffee and something to eat, or even get hitched at a marriage registration office. Meanwhile, Jiangtan Park is a great place for exercise, such as going skateboarding or playing beach volleyball.
