Photo taken on May 28, 2011 showed the low water level of Longhekou reservoir in east China's Anhui Province. The lingering drought has affected Anhui Province since this spring. Longhekou reservoir, one reservoir of the Pishihang water conservancy system, has irrigated a total area of 103,300 hectares in its lower reaches since April 29, 2011. Up to now, the reservoir has supplied almost 21.8 million cubes of water, securing the use of water of more than 1 million people in the region. [Xinhua/Xu Bing]
