Thailand's Public Health Minister Witthaya Kaewparadai said on Tuesday there is no A/H1N1 mutation in the country, Thai news agency INN reported.

Meanwhile, the ministry has ordered the Government Pharmaceutical Organisation (GPO) to import 12 million doses of vaccine at a cost of two million baht (58 72 U.S. dollars), Witthaya said.

Moreover, with the World Health Organization 's support the Thai GPO and Silpakorn University would conduct a joint research on the vaccine against the virus, the minister said.

Earlier, the ministry announced 84 more patients are confirmed to have been infected with the A/H1N1 flu virus, bringing the country's total number to 1,414.

Over the past two weeks, the flu outbreak has infected about 90 people a day, while Thailand's death toll from the deadly new virus has remained at three since June 27.

The country had its first two confirmed patients on May 12.
