| The facade of the Denmark Pavilion is designed with holes which can ventilate, adjust pavilion lights and realize night-view illumination in the World Expo in Shanghai, east China, on May 1, 2010. The low-carbon concept prevails in the Shanghai World Expo. Facade design of pavilions in the World Expo Park presents characteristic low-carbon details in accordence with materials, functions and cultural backgrounds. Advanced scientific technology achievements, especially the recognition and efforts to realize the very issue of environmental protection, are utilized for the low-carbon facade designs. [Xinhua] |
