Male Flight Attendants to Take to the Sky

A breath of fresh air will soon hit China's flight service industry with the first group of male flight attendants to take to the sky next week.

The group of nine was assembled Wednesday and come from a Guizhou branch of Air China.

With an average age of 23, they were selected from nearly 60 applicants.

After receiving two-weeks of training in air-service, air defense, and luggage assistance the new flight attendants are well prepared for the long hours they face.

Air China also plans to train them as on-board security guards.
