Error Occurs!
The Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau announced in Beijing Saturday the man suspected to have set off explosions on the campus of two prestigious universities in Beijing on February 25 was seized in Fuzhou, capital of east China's Fujian Province, early this morning.
The suspect, Huang Minxiang, works in Qiongshan city of Haikou in south China's Hainan Province. A native of Fuzhou city, Huang was born in 1976.
The police in Beijing and Fuzhou combined their efforts in around-the-clock investigations after the explosions and arrested the suspect at 00:20 a.m. Saturday.
The suspect has confessed all he had done in the two explosions. The police are investigating into why and how he had made the blasts and other details.
Two blasts rocked the respective cafeterias on the campus of Peking and Tsinghua universities in Beijing at noon on Feb. 25, injuring nine students and staff altogether.
