Cong Cong: 'Carry the Universe with Me' (Department of Arts and Crafts)

This jewelry line showcases semi-embedded pearl designs combined with intricate metal weaving inspired by a poetry book bearing the same title. Despite spanning four meters, the primary piece remains lightweight and wearable. Cong Cong's objective is for observers to perceive the delicate and authentic metal fabric, evoking sensations akin to a soft breeze, a floating cloud, or a blooming flower. By transposing these elements into jewelry, wearers can carry a fragment of the universe with them. Associate Professor Wang Xiaoxin supervised this artistic creation.
