The Flaming Mountains : A "Journey to the West" wonder on scorching ground
The Flaming Mountains are composed of red sandstone and are known for their extreme summer heat, with ground temperatures reaching over 70°C (158°F). This extraordinary mountain range is also famous for the legend of "Sun Wukong borrowing the plantain fan three times" from the classic novel "Journey to the West."
