NEW DELHI -- With the recovery of four more bodies, the death toll in Monday's blast at a chemical factory in the southern Indian state of Telangana has risen to 12, officials said.
Thirty-four others injured in the blast are undergoing treatment at the hospitals.
The blast took place in the Pashamylaram industrial area of Patancheru, Sangareddy district, about 48 km northwest of Hyderabad, the capital city of Telangana. (India-Blast-Death Toll)

NEW YORK -- The White House on Monday informed Harvard University that it violated federal civil-rights law by inadequately addressing threats and harassment against Jewish students.
In a letter to Harvard President Alan Garber, U.S. government attorneys said the university acted with "deliberate indifference" despite knowing students felt unsafe, and warned that continued failure to implement immediate changes would result in losing all federal funding, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal. GAZA -- At least 21 Palestinians were killed and dozens more wounded on Monday when an Israeli airstrike hit a beachfront cafe in Gaza City, according to Palestinian medical and security sources.

TEHRAN --Iran's Foreign Ministry on Monday accused the United States of "betraying" diplomacy, claiming Washington's alleged role in recent Israeli military strikes threatens the future of indirect nuclear negotiations.
