Employment is the foundation of the people's livelihood, which is also true of the world’s largest capitalist country, the United States of America. Impacted by the economic crisis which started in 2008, the unemployment rate of the US rose to its peak. Earning a living became hard for Americans. Today, things are getting better. Figures show that the employment rate of the US has been rising for 62 months by April, creating 12.3 million jobs in total and setting a new record in US history. The unemployment rate of April was 5.4%, the lowest since May 2008.

The above figures show that the employment situation in the US has been getting better, for which China has contributed a lot aside from the background of global economic recovery. As the facts show, China’s economic growth has created more and more jobs for Americans. Maintaining a sound Sino-US economic and trade relationship benefits the American people. The US government should take into consideration its people’s interests and achieve mutual benefits in Sino-US collaborations. Anything that hampers Sino-US trade is not beneficial and should be removed.
