EU high representative for foreign affairs and European Commission Vice President Catherine Ashton will visit China at the invitation of Foreign Minister Wang Yi from April 25 to 28.

Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying made the announcement at a Thursday press briefing.
