Hong Kong Financial Secretary John Tsang will attend the Group of Twenty Cannes Summit on Nov. 3-4 in France, according to the city government's news release on Monday.

Tsang will attend the G20 summit, the premier world forum for economic and financial co-operation, as part of the China delegation.

He will then visit Los Angeles on Nov. 7-8 to promote business ties, before heading to the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Finance Ministers' Meeting in Honolulu on Nov. 9-10.

During his absence, Secretary for Financial Services & the Treasury Professor KC Chan and the Secretary for Development Carrie Lam will act as Financial Secretary.
