Fidel Castro issues new warning on danger of nuclear war

Former Cuban leader Fidel Castro issued on Thursday a video message translated into eight languages, repeating his warning about the danger of a possible nuclear war.
Since Castro's return to public life on July 7 this year, he has focused his writings on the threat of a possible nuclear war, which, according to him, would derive from an U.S.-Israeli attack on Iran.
According to Castro, a nuclear war would lead to the end of mankind. "In a nuclear war, the collateral damage would be the human life," he said.
The former Cuban leader said that "before the threat of a nuclear war on planetary scale (becomes real), people are obligated to ask political leaders for the right to live."
Castro quoted late Nobel physics laureate Albert Einstein as saying:
"We do not know which weapons will be used in the Third World War, but in the Fouth World War, the people will use stones and sticks, because the mankind should be born again after the third one."
Castro handed over power to his brother Raul Castro in June 2006 due to a complicated intestinal surgery, but he returned to public life on July 7 "fully recovered," according to his own words.
