The Thai government's Center for Resolution of Emergency Situation (CRES) on Sunday decided not to impose a curfew in capital Bangkok right now, Aksara Kerdpol, the Army's assistant chief of staff, said.

The curfew's imposition might negatively affect the normal life of the general public, he explained.
His address to the nation was made after a CRES meeting, starting from about 02:30 p.m., to decide whether it was essential to impose the curfew amid the ongoing anti-government rally in central Bangkok.
