A red-shirt leader said Monday their talks with Thai premier Abhisit Vejjajiva on Monday will be the last one, reiterating the only solution to the country's conflict is dissolution of the Lower House.

Thai Channel 9 Television quoted Nattawut Saikua as saying that if Prime Minister Abhisit did not dissolve the House and call a new election, the red shirts would raise the level of their anti- government mass rally.

The talks is scheduled for 18:00 p.m. local time (11:00 GMT) at the King Prajadhipok's Institute in Bangkok.

The government and the red shirts agreed to hold a second round of talks on Monday after they failed to thrash out their differences over conditions leading to dissolution of the House.

In a related development, Minister to the Prime Minister's Office Satit Wongnongtaey said Abhisit, his secretary-general Korbsak Sabhavasu, and ruling Democrat Party Deputy Secretary- General Chamni Sakdiset will still represent the coalition government to hold talks with the red shirts, Thai News Agency reported.

The red-shirts should not make any rally activities and wait for the outcome of the talks, Satit said. Their talks will be broadcast live by state-run NBT Television.
