Putin accuses some countries of blocking Russian accession to WTO

Some countries, including the United States, are trying to obstruct Russia's accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO), said Prime Minister Vladimir Putin during a live phone-in session aired on Thursday noon.
"For unknown reasons, the U.S. lobby groups are trying to prevent our entry into WTO," said Putin, which he said was a strategic aim for Russia.
