There's a couple of special friends in Ekaterinburg, Russia -- a cat named Rex and a ferret named Keanu.

Rex was tormented when he was only months old, and his spine was broken. Rex's owner built a wheelchair to help him walk again.

The little cat was unhappy at the very beginning. However, the outgoing Keanu became his companion, and now plays and sleeps with him.

Gradually, Rex picked himself again, and even forgot his condition. Now, the two little animals are happily living together.
