CPPCC member and former NBA star Yao Ming has set his sights on the health and fitness of students.

After doing research in 17 primary schools in Shanghai, he concluded that physical education classes are not as attractive to students as they should be.

He has made a proposal to make PE classes more interesting. He proposes establishing special classes on different kinds of sports, allowing children to make their own choices and enjoy themselves while getting fit.
